A Trusted Voice You Know.
#TRUSTWHITE
The Businessman
Armed with an instinctively sharp acumen for the world of finance, Bishop White’s election to the Board of Trustees of the Church of God in Christ (2000-2004) was complemented by his early career as a Wall Street executive. Hands down, his ingenuity for incorporating a broad base of business knowledge into his role as a National Trustee positioned his favorable re-election to the Board (2004-2008). Specifically, his competence in corporate accounting, forecasting, and budgeting alongside his proven commitment to protecting the best fiscal interest of the Church only further asserted his seat on the Board as a “unanimously valued” voice of TRUST.
The Church’s 2008 Quadrennial election overwhelmingly seated Bishop White in the Office of Financial Secretary where he would achieve the distinction as one of the longest serving in the Church’s history. Throughout his four consecutive terms, Bishop White completely revolutionized the internal operations of the OFS through the adaptation of cutting-edge technology and innovation to include:
Upgrade of the F1 & F2 Forms; automation of electronic submission
Collaboration of Online Credential Reporting
Revitalization of internal accounting systems, structure & staffing
Ongoing Professional Personnel Development through seminars, hands-on workshops and software certifications
Navigating the internal procedures for the Church’s Financial & Compliance Audits
Managing the efficient utilization of Merchant Services, Electronic Giving & Reporting Procedures
In his parallel capacity as Chairman of the Executive Finance Council, Bishop White developed the strategic model of Communication, Collaboration & Centralization to mobilize the Council’s agenda of:
Maximizing existing revenue.
Developing new streams of revenue.
Increasing financial accountability and efficiency.
Cultivating Financial Policies and Procedures for all church areas, Departments, Auxiliaries and Subsidiaries.
Bishop White’s principal publications, COGIC Financial Policies Manual and Minimum Operating Standards Manual have become the standardized texts employed throughout the National Church. Across the Church Body, he remains in high demand as a featured lecturer on: The Principles of Stewardship, Leadership Development and Succession Planning.
The Shepherd
Appointed in 2004 as Pastor, the ninth in succession, of the landmark Zion Cathedral, Bishop White spearheads its flourishing congregational growth through his oversight of more than 45 fully-operational ministries for the total man. One of the driving passions of his heart as a Shepherd is directed at intentional ministry for Seniors and Youth.
As CEO of the Cedarmore Corporation, Bishop White drives the improvement of educational, social, and emotional development programs for youth, representing the diverse population of families from the New York metropolitan area to include:
The Afterschool Enrichment Program
The Big Brothers Association
The award-winning Young Entrepreneurs Training Program
The Cynthia Roberts Youth Empowerment Series
The Ready Set Know Interactive Instruction Platform for personal development, self-esteem, goal- setting and relationships.
Committed to touching the nations, Zion Cathedral’s Sunday Worship experiences are streamed and followed by tens of thousands weekly. This is matched by his widely-followed Tuesday Night Empowerment Teaching. Under Bishop White’s progressive leadership, Zion Cathedral stands as a "Beacon of Hope" across the New York Tri-State region obligated to its priority for reaching souls and empowering believers to take dominion in every area of their lives.
The Preacher & Mentor
Closely aligned with the completion of his higher education, young Frank White’s divine call to the Gospel ministry was acknowledged. Wasting no time setting his hands to the Gospel plow, Minister White’s bold, insightful, rightly-divided delivery of the Gospel accelerated with heavy demand across the nation, qualifying his candidacy for public ordination as an Elder by the late Second Assistant Presiding Bishop F. D. Washington.
On the cosmopolitan stage, Bishop White’s preaching portfolio includes induction into the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College and guest lectureships at Cornell University and Queens College. Ecumenically, Bishop White's demand has welcomed his proclamation of the Gospel at Madison Square Garden, Sacred Heart's Roman Catholic Church of Jesus and Mary, St. John's Episcopal Church and as Noonday Preacher at the 105th Annual Hampton University Ministers’ Conference.
At the dawn of 2022, the Spirit of God rested upon Bishop White’s heart to open a 6 AM Prayer Line as a 30- Day Consecration to usher in the New Year. This Prayer Line has since rapidly flourished into a daily awakening devotion to the power of prayer, enlisting hundreds of intercessors—”morning by morning”--from across the nation and the continents. Consequently, the spiritual overflow of this Prayer Line sustained the flame leading up to the milestone of this year’s 30th Year Prayer Conference, founded by Bishop White and facilitated under the auspices of FAW Evangelistic Crusade Ministries, Inc.
It is through his emphasis upon the discipline of prayer and study of God’s Word that Bishop White has nurtured a league of sons and daughters in the Gospel, patiently pouring the oil of encouragement upon the practice of their spiritual gifts.
The Minstrel
Who can forget? Sunday after Sunday, just past daybreak, thousands of households isolated by COVID-19 would tune-in faithfully to be brought into a refreshing worship encounter through the anointed articulation of “psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” at the Hammond organ by the master minstrel, Frank Anthone White.
Founder of MusicQuest Records in 1991, following the release of “We Need a Miracle” by the late Reverend Timothy Wright, the signature label of the FAW Celebration Choir would go on to record the New York State Chapter of the GMWA, The Shekinah Choir, Brooklyn Tabernacle Deliverance Mass Choir, Long Island Sound and David Bratton & Spirit of Praise.
Twice appointed by the late Presiding Bishop G. E. Patterson as Vice President of the International Music Department, Elder White became the trusted voice for protecting the integrity of the Church of God in Christ “sound” and artistic brand within the music business industry globally.
Among his library of works as a gifted composer, his masterpiece “Great is the Lord” is a select anthem for the celebration of high worship. His recently penned, “I Know God Will Answer Prayer” shifts atmospheres in churches across America with the sweet sound of worship.
The Man
The living legacy of Bishop Frank Otha White and protégé in succession as Pastor of Zion Cathedral, Prelate of New York Eastern Third Jurisdiction and National Financial Secretary—the man Bishop Frank Anthone White stands tall and walks worthy of his vocation with distinction. Entrusted with the care of his beloved mother, Dr. Juliet L. White (former International Marshal), and the covering of his four sisters, Bishop White’s regard as the family patriarch is typified by his affectionate allegiance to the ethic of “Family First.”
Yet as plainly as he is the immediate heir of his late father’s tutelage and mentoring, Bishop White likewise invests his time into building his own son, Pastor Jykolyn (and daughter-in-love, Lady Jasmine), with the virtues of character, integrity, honesty and trust. To those who follow their father-son adventures, no sight is more invigorating than their impromptu side-by-side duo keyboard showdowns!
Daily tugging at his heart strings, his most trusted advisor, grandson Jeremiah, playfully follows his grandfather—every step--in his love for music, worship, the New York Knicks, and golf.
